ANTYCIP SIMULATION INCREASES EUROPEAN SUPPORT FOR DISTI PRODUCTS
Appoints Curtis Schröeder, Senior Software Engineer, to increase customer support using DiSTI products
Oxford, United Kingdom, 1st February 2010 – Antycip Simulation Ltd (Antycip Simulation), a subsidiary of ST Electronics (Training & Simulation Systems) Pte Ltd, today announced that Curtis Schröeder (Curt) has joined the company as its new Senior Software Engineer. He will provide support for the Human Machine Interface (HMI) and embedded software solutions from The DISTI Corporation. Antycip Simulation partners DiSTI to offer Revolutionary Products and World Class Services for Next Generation HMI.
Curt received his Bachelor and Masters degrees in Computer Science from the Missouri University of Science & Technology (formerly UMR). His MSc degree was for a specialisation in computer graphics, robotics, and artificial intelligence. Curt’s curriculum included many electrical engineering electives, providing him with an excellent knowledge base for embedded software development.
Curt has spent most of his professional career in the aerospace industry, working for McDonnell Douglas (now Boeing) and Lockheed Martin over the past two decades. He helped design and develop the highest safety critical backup computer software for the C-382J/C-130J transport aircraft, and worked with the assigned Federal Aviation Administration’s Designated Engineering Representative (DER) leading up to civil certification.
With the rest of his career involved in various computer graphics programming projects involving simulation and HMI applications, Curt has over a decade of experience working in a real-time simulation environment. In addition to HMI development, he has extensive experience with the Common Image Generator Interface (CIGI) protocol and integration of out-the-window image generators with host simulations.
“We are very proud to welcome Curt in our European team to support our growing activity in HMI and embedded software solutions using DiSTI products. Curt’s experience at Boeing and Lockheed Martin will be a great asset for our customers using GL Studio as a powerful tool for modelling, simulation and the embedded markets.”
~ Michel PRONIER,
Chief Executive Officer, Antycip Simulation
“I am very pleased to join the dynamic European team of Antycip Simulation. After having used several other HMI design products in my career, I appreciate what GL Studio and the other DiSTI products bring to developers. I look forward to helping our customers be more productive and successful with their HMI and embedded systems development.”
